well just so everyone knows, I have had the 6 bolt in my car for a couple months now, but unfortunately i just bent some valves... now i was in the process of pulling the head but i got a little stuck when i went to pull out the timing belt cover. all the screws are off, and ive taken out the motor mount, but i was wondering if when i was puttin in the 6 bolt (months ago) if i was supposed to cut alot more than what i did to the timing belt cover. basicly i made a hole good engough for the mount to slip through. but now that im trying to take it out, im wondering how to do it with those 2 bolts sticking up. I just dont want to cut the cover if i dont have to.... any one know? thanks in advance

I had problems with that too. I really had to twist the timing belt cover to get the 2g motor mount through the little hole I made. I got it on just fine, but when I put the motor in the car and wanted to check mechanical timing for the 200th time before I started it, I realized that I could not get it off. My solution was just to cut all the way to the top of the lower cover. That way I could just pull the cover down. It made taking it on and off alot easier.
