6 bolt crankwalk?

Okay so when I push the clutch in, it changes the sound of the already horrendous motor. (Must be pushing the crank back into position) Also, with the car off, my friend felt the crankshaft pulley as I was pumping the clutch. He confirmed he could feel the crank moving.

I don't know what else it could be...

how many miles on the motor? how long have you owned it? did you just decide to randomly check ? (why you checked?)

Drop your transfer case and drop the oil pan. See if you can move the rods around. If so, prepare to rebuild...

Strange to hear that for a 6 bolt. Let us us know your findings.

Get a dial indicator and measure endplay.

Forgot about this thread, but it was some nasty crankwalk. It was my fault though, the motor had been low on oil for at least a month. Spun a couple bearings.. I ignored the "idiot" light because I thought it was faulty. I took it apart and found eagle H beam rods and Wiseco pistons though, nice find. I originally thought that the car was stock.

I just recently got my new motor build on the road. I'm in the process of tuning it right now actually. I will update my mods list (My mod list consists of what I wanted to put in the motor.

Spinning a rod or main is not crankwalk.

Guess the light isnt idiot proof eh? Luckily most cars these days wont let you start without oil
