Ok, I just got my MAFT tuned up nice for goin around town, I get around 15* timing in in upward slope at WOT in all my gears, but as I start picking up speed around 100mph (highway) I get crazy knock and timing goes waaaay down. The other night, it was actually retarded -2*. Its still on the rich side according to the o2, ~.96. I am just wondering if this is heatsoak on the stock IC, or just the fact that the stupid t25 I have is blowing too much hot air for the engine. Let me know what you think, thanks.

Oh, BTW that stupid *knock* LED mod actually came in handy, as it was solidly on, and the BCS limited my boost until it reset itself after a couple of drives. Stupidest mod ever, but hey...if I didn't have a logger to tell me i was getting crazy knock, it actually might have been worth doing it......almost...LOL

What knock mod is that? I haven't heard of it.

Its the mod where you hook an LED and a resistor into the BCS line so that when it is shut (due to the engine picking up too much knock) the LED will illuminate. It really doesn't do a whole lot because in order for the computer to shut off the BCS, its got to pick up a lot of knock. Its kind of a last resort deal.
