5th gear jerk

I was on the fwy today and hit wot at about 3k rpm in 5th gear and around 7-10 psi my car jerks and doesnt stop until i let go of throttle. I did it again and saw some puffs of black smoke. Is that mean theres a possible hole in one of my intercooler pipes or something worse? and it doesnt seam to do it in lower gears i hit 12 psi fine in 2nd.

sounds to me like your getting some compressor surge, and the black puffs are from the fuel mixture. A vacuum/boost leak will affect you in all gears.
