I've read on vfaq that you can put 550 injectors and a 2g maf into a 1g car and it'll run fine. Anyone have any PERSONAL experience with this? Because frankly I don't have the money right now for engine management tools. Thanks

Yes you'll be fine. A tad rich but nothing to worry about.

Hijacked! Depends what MAF your on, what size injectors, what your fuel mods are, what turbo your on, what gas your using, what boost your running, etc.

The 2g maf flows 20-25% more air. The 550's flow about 15% more fuel. With extra airflow mods you may be fine or may not. With my setup I was a little lean and had to add fuel to get good fuel trims and afr at wot. Others have been a tad rich. I would get a logger and when you swap them in you can make sure your not having detonation.

I did it years back, many others have too, but a motor is worth a whole lot more than a logger costs. Better safe than sorry.
