5031E Often called the 50trim i need a new exhaust side housing where to buy? I striped 2 holes and manage to drop the housing when it fell off when i was trying to get the housing off.


Turbo is fine but i need a new housing it says presisan? turbo on it and uses standard mitsu flang and 6 bolts to bolt it to turbo center section. Thanks

So is the only damage the stripped bolts? Or did it crack from dropping it? You could have bolt holes machined out and trapped, or helicoil them?

it has some 1 striped holes but when i droped it it mushroomed the bolt hole that goes to the manifold, goofed up the sealing suface and smoothed the hole closed so i cant get a bolt through

Bullseye may not have the one needed for that turbine wheel that the 5031E uses, its best to call Dave over there and find out. Tell them you have the Stage III exhaust wheel. 231-788-5209

It is a regular 50 trim. PTE, Bullseye, SBR, FP... pick one.

PTE or Bullseye should both work, as mentioned & a bunch of our site vendors should be able to supply this product for you. Now if your looking for an upgraded turbine housing you could always check FP out. They recently came out with a 50 trim bolt on that uses the same style SS cast turbine housing as their GT series turbos. I would imagine you could purchase just this new housing off them (know you can purchase just the GT turbine housing off them) & this would be the best performing bolt on housing with its perfectly symetrical volute & larger A/R, plus being SS it doesn't rust. If your looking for max potential out of your 50 trim, this would be the way to go but will also require the use of a Tial 44 external WG & V band O2 housing. So it will run you more $$$ but if you were thinking to go external gate in the future, this may be a good option.

For PTE vs Bullseye, if you don't mind the fact that the bullseye doesn't look exactly stock externally & can't bolt the lower heat shield up with it, it is probably the better choice as far as performance goes (volute more symetrical compared to the PTE which is closer to the asymetrical stock volute).

Are you sure the FP's SS cast turbine housing fits on non-ball bearing FP Green/ PTE 5031E type turbos? Or does PTE use the same housing on their ball bearing and non-ball bearing turbos? It looks like FP's housing will work with the PTE 5031RE (dual ball bearing) since the way they bolt up to the CHRA's looks the same, but I'm not sure about the PTE 5031.

Oye people- it all depends on what turbine wheel it was built with. Stage 3 or 5 will be most common for a 50 trim.
