50 trim t3/t4 rec. timeslip?

Be very careful when looking at 50trim turbo kits. Turbonetics, and Garrett are VERY different. Ask alot of questions of the vender you are dealing with. And make sure you know what parts are going into you turbo;)

I am in no way bad mouthing anything here. Please dont take it like that. Actually, Turbonetics sponsors, and equipps, some of the fastest cars in the world. Im simply promoting awareness. Ask questions, lots of questions. Know what you are dealing with. It is your right when making such a large purchase.
 
Yeah, I asked a ton of questions and he never answered me when I asked about the 4 bolt housing. It was the only question he didn't answer. I now see why. A REAL garrett 50 trim is only $625 from cheapturbos.com. Maybe I will put my own kit together. Rnr header, cheapturbos.com 50 trim w/ .63 stage 3, and custom O2 housing. This setup is only going to be $1150 with the plumbing kit from DSM motorsports.
Alright, how much worse is the 5 bolt vs. the 4 bolt? I heard it was a pretty big difference. The new .48 is supposed to flow almost as much as the old .63!

In theory a fully supported 50 trim should be able to make 460+. Also in theory that should be enough for VERY high 10s. However I would be surprised if you hit low 11s. It is obvious you are underestimating how difficult hitting 10s is.
 
I definately know that it isn't easy! I have been into DSM's for 9 years and I have everything done to the car except for head and intake. I got laid off and that was the last things to do this spring. I went back to school so those will have to wait. 10's have already been run on this turbo. I have an EMS and am going speed density at the same time with a wideband to tune it. COP, fully built bottom end, shep racing tranny, 660's, big FMIC, weight reduction (not extreme-2950lbs w/o driver), etc...
I will be extremely happy with 11's on pump gas, but striving for the elusive 10's (on race gas of course!). I am not expecting them, but that is the goal. 11.3 is my guess at what I will get.
 
The 5 bolt housing really isn't that bad. There have been a lot people who have went really fast on the 5 bolt housing. I recentyl read of someone running 11.0 on the 50 trim, .63 AR, stage 3 wheel. It can't be that bad. We do offer the 4 bolt housing as an option.
