5 volt wideband input to rear 02 (pin 75)

Can this be done? I have evoscan, so I can change the formula to log the rear o2 signal as AFR. I just don't want to potentially hurt the ecu. If this won't work, What about wiring it into the signal wire for the MDP sensor? I don't care about CEL, so it all good.

Is this for an EVO? If yes, you'll get alot more info on an EVO forum. If no, you're using the wrong logging software.

This is on my 98 eclipse. I have been using evoscan for a month with no problems. I just need to find a way to log AFR along with the other engine parameters.

There is a thread about logging a 5v wideband signal through the rear O2 signal here somewhere. The only problem (if I remember correctly) is that it would only show a maximum of 1.2v.
Which wideband are you using? Evoscan can log some kinds through a serial cable.
Did you have to change anything to get evoscan to work? I tried mine on a 95 2g, but it wouln't go.

My wideband is wired into my rear o2, and logged with dsmlink. Works fine for me, it's not evoscan, but just for reference it works on link.

Thanks...i did search, but must have missed that one. I guess i will try it. Worst case if it does only read to 1.2 volts, I can change the output so that 1=20:1 and 0=10:1

Sorry to bring this from the grave, but did that ever work out for you? I am hoping to wire my wideband to the rear o2.
I believe in the Innovative WB you can change the output, but not posative.

I didn't look in your profile to see what WB02 you're running, but if you have teh AEM, you can set it to either a 0-5, 1-2 or 0-1 votl output. And isnce it's a WBo2 you will get accurate readings on whatever volt scale it is running.

I'm not sure if the rear o2 sensor can be changed to read a 0-5v input, but you could always run it in through the EGR or MDP sensor to allow 0-5volt feedback
