Nice guide!

Can you update the t-case transmission info?

You can put any 95-99 MT Transmission into any 2g turbo AWD. I have installed a 99 transmission into a 95 with no problems.

If you have a 97-99 tranny, you have to use 97-99 tcase since the gearing in the trans and t-case is different than 95-96.

If you have a 95-96 tranny, you can use 91-96 t-case. This would include a 6 bolt 23 spline tcase. I actually used a 91 t-case with my 95 trans.

This may help others find the parts. Older t-cases are easier to come by.

Also, all 2g MT rear diffs are the same ratio, they just have LSD or non-LSD. Code for LSD is BFH.

I updated my tech article with your information at the bottom with a note, so it will be there for others to reference as well. Thanks!

Cool! Hopefully it helps others doing a swap. I have never done a auto-manual swap but I've done a good amount of research on the different manual transmissions and the changes between the years.

I couldn't get the video to play on your thread so you may want to go to the actual video I posted of Jack, then copy the URL and paste it back in your thread. Unfortunately when you copy and paste it from this thread, it keeps the ..... (dots) in the web address causing the URL not to work.

Jack has other good informational videos on his site too such as clutch adjustments, Pivot Ball Shimming, Transmission Installation Tips, etc.
