4g64?

Ive searched the forums, and done some google research, but im not quite sure still. So, i have a 4g64 in my 99 GS Spyder, would the mods(ie. header, intake, etc.) for the 2000+ models with the 4g64 work with my engine? They both look the same, 16v SOHC 4g64, just the 2000+ engines have a bit more HP. Any help would be appreciated!

you have to figure that those mods, header, intake, etc. were built around a completely different chassis. not to get your hopes down, but i don't see how it would work.

only things that would work are Headers. the engine is completely mirrored, like the exhaust comes off the back instead of the front, yet the pullies/belts are still on the right. imo we have the worst engines ever (4g64 & 4g37) built by DSM because you can't do anything to them. i however did a CAI made for the 420a, needed to modify it to work on the other side of the engine and still face down.
