Hi guys I have a 4g64 turbo project on a blackbox ecu, it runs good however it’s being held back by something.

I make good boost (12lbs) but I don’t feel it, and I feel it’s being held back by an incorrect sensor or something.

I have checked over everything mechanical multiple times and everything is good. I’ve gone to an evo tuner and he’s brought up some things I haven’t thought about such as:

Is the n/a maf the same as the turbo maf?
Is the map sensor different, and can it handle boost? (Suggested to get a 3 bar sensor)

I’d appreciate any help, if anybody can think of a sensor that could potentially be holding me back please give me some input..
Thanks

I don’t remember if the 2G 4G64 MAF is the same as the 7G Galant MAF but when I did my swap years ago, the Galant forums were documented to swap it out. I originally went with a GM MAF and a SAFC but changed it out to a 3G MAF.

The 3G MAF is the same as the Evo 8 and I have an abundance of 3Gs in my junkyards so I always have spares to grab. Runs fine for me with ECMLink 👌
