General 1g MAF same as MAF-T with jeffs chips?

I plan on zeroing out all the settings on the maf-t and using the super afc which acts as a 1g maf, would this work? Jeff said the 2g or evo maf was better, but I'd like to vent, but he said the 2g maf is easier to tune. Any thoughts?

It's close but few are 100%. You may need to tweak it a bit to get the airflow measurements to match up to what the 1G MAF would have measured. You them may have to tweak it again when the weather changes.

The MAFT is *supposed* to emulate a stock 1G MAS when on the 450cc settings, but they are effected a lot by the diameter of your pipes and adapters, and any bends in the pipes near the GM MAF.

A chip that I have designed for a stock 1G MAS will work just fine with a MAFT. A chip that I design for a MAFT usually has the BARO and IAT values locked in the code, because the MAFT-to-1G connector sometimes fits poorly and causes issues.

Since the MAFT locks those values anyway, you could actually disconnect the BARO and IAT wires and still not get a CEL from it if I lock it in the code.
