1g Maf-t on 2g

I searched for a while and couldn't find any info on this. I have heard that a 1g maf translator can be rewired to work with a 2g car. Anyone know how to do this or can confirm that it's possible?

The only difference is the wiring for the plugs. I don't know if anyone has detailed the change, but you should be able to figure out what you need to do to rewire it by looking at the VFAQ for 2G MAS in a 1G.

Thanks for the help. It turns out it's an older version of the software (1.32) and I would need to buy a newer chip, then I could rewire it.
