I have a 1999 4G64 Eclipse Spyder GS that I have been mapping out out for the past few years. Finally started to tear it down and turn it into something more.
So hear is what I'm thinking, keeping my 4G64 short block, adding the head from a 2006 Optima, using the internals of the Evo VIII and turbo system.
Which would be the best gasket to use? Staying with the standard gasket for the 64, an Evo gasket, or a gasket for Kia?
