Hi guys. Jonathan here. Totally new member. We recently acquired a Clark lpg forklift with a blown up 4g64 8v engine. The crank , rods, cylinder bores are toast.
Trying to find a complete used engine is impossible. But I’ve found a few 16v remans. Is there much difference between intake, exhaust manifold and distributor drive to make the 16v fit

There is a lot more to the 4g series of engines than just the questions you pose. Most if not all of the versions you may find wont have a provision for a distributor. There is also the question of transmission as the 4g series of blocks are available in both narrow and wide bellhousing patterns. We aren't likely to know which one you have. there are dimensions posted online. You might also check out project zero g. That site is about motor swaps so things like what transfers to what is relevant as in your case.
If you're trying to salvage this you might consider a new crank, rods and pistons and sleeve that block. You will likely have more luck sourcing reciprocating parts.
