4g63t Rebuild Question

Hi all, I'm new to the site and the DSM world, but not new to car tuning. I recently decided to buy a 95 GSX as a project car, and had a question before I start the search for the right car. I'd like to rebuild the engine when I get the car, this isn't going to be a serious race car, but something for me to work on on the weekends and mess around with, so I don't neccesarily need a fully built engine...my question is how much would it cost to rebuild the engine, both to stock specs and with forged internals etc. Obviously I know there isn't an exact price, but ballpark figures for each would be appreciated, I want to see what kind of costs I'm gonna be looking at right off the bat. from west palm beach? talk to jim mcbride. his shop is on the corner of 441 and Lake Worth Ave. he did a really good job on my friends eclipse. i cant remember the name of his shop, but he's really fair with prices and quotes.

I just finished my head and it cost about 1k. I am working on the block and on going to be putting about 800 into it going with stock internals. Forged is just too much money for me right now.
