Yes it is, he pieced this thing together with parts left over from the race car and other parts that were kicking around the garage. Only real money went to new replacement shocks and brakes and some tires.
 
He still needs to work on the brakes. They can't hold it back so it ends up pushing through. Definitely a lot more in it. I'm sure he will chime in at some point and answer some of these other questions.

And its a MacroCab?! Awesome!

The best part was his car number was 115 that day and he ran his new best 11.5.
 
Yeah, the brakes definitey don't hold. I've got some things to look at tomorrow about that, I only need a little more holding power. The 11.5 at 122 was on a 2.0 sixty foot, ideally it would be a 1.5x at this power/weight. It is indeed the 50 trim from the compound setup. I had originally bought a cobbled together JB 35R compressor on stage 5 turbine combo that shit the bed on the first test drive (went like hell though). Then I ran this 50 trim turbo in 2010 while the race car waited for warmer weather. Then I just put it back together with the 16g which has a chewed up comp wheel (12.1 at 112). Then the 50 trim went back on. I might just leave it there, the compound setup won't be using it anymore. It's a fun turbo for this truck, and I don't want to put a cage in it so it won't go much faster on a regular basis anyway.

Some other details, it weighs 3000 lbs with me in it. TCI competition TH350 trans. Custom JMF intake and exhaust manifolds Brent made for me. 2g ECMlink V3 on speed density. Mid 80s Montero LSD in the stock rear axle. MT ET Street radials. Pretty standard 2.3 liter eagle/ross motor. FP 4R cams. 45k miles on the odometer. :)
