What are some manual rwd transmissions with the same bolt pattern as the 4g63t doing a rwd swap turning the motor and a lot of chassis work

Go to Project zero G, you will find the info you need there.
Must warn you, none of the japanese tranny, that you will find adapters for or bolt on are very stout.
Go to BILL HINCHER and have him make you an adapter for maybe a T5 or a T56.
In my project I am using MUNCIE or T10, same pattern, but they are 4 speeds.
    Good luck.

id do a ford 8.8 over any gm axle. stronger and parts are super abundant. as mentioned above bill hincher is one of the best guys around making adapters for any trans to a 4g block.

I agree with OH 100%unless you have a GM set up available.
I dont have any idea as far as gear ratios for drifting, but I would think it depends on a lot of factors, power, weight, tires , etc.
Sorry can not be of more help.

I ran a corporate 12 bolt with stock axles and an Eaton lsd. It held 800hp 556tq without a question every time I commanded from my 4g63 and th400 transmission. Don’t let someone fool you into thinking an 8.8” ford rear end is superior. Especially if they have no actual experience.

The Ford 8.8 IRS is a nice, versatile piece.
Strong enough, plenty of aftermarket parts, can adapt to many setups and styles.
Not too familiar with GM stuff. The Ford 8.8 is about as straightforward as you can get.
Also second project zero G. Great resource.
