I've read through the forums to do an exaust, intake, and revamp the fuel system, my question is where do I find beefier injectors for the 1.8 4g37, I've already started building an exaust system for it but I want to look into the less at home performance parts, thanks!

You won't outflow the injectors you have without the ability to put a whole lot more air into the motor. I assume you also know you can't just add larger injectors. Computer needs to be modified/changed also.

Paul said exactly what I was going to say.

Larger injectors don't add power. Larger injectors support power needs. And as mentioned you still need to be able to control then properly.

And really the exhaust won't do much either.

As a guy that owned a 4G37 powered Eclipse 24 years ago the biggest advice I would offer is make the car yours, but don't expect it to be fast. It's a 90 hp car from the factory. Have fun with it and enjoy it.

I ideally wanna do a piggy back system on the computer, I don't wanna make any crazy amount of power, just enough to make it more comfortable to drive, the 1.8 has a 0-60 of like a decade

I do enjoy it, I just want to make a little bit more power, I was thinking about beefing the injectors a tad, putting the 2.5" system down the whole car and then giving it a few baby shots of nitrous in occasions rapid acceleration is required

Beefing the injectors isn't going to add power. Injectors are a supporting mod. Exhaust is going to add more sound than power.

Unless you are drastically affecting the air flow of the engine then your stock Injectors are more than sufficient.

I have the absolute best mod for your car for power. It's drop in, made by Diamond Star Motors, and can be done in a weekend. Ready?

4G63T swap it. Even in stock form with freemods, and a turboback exhaust you'll make more power than any 4G37 ever has. Or ever will.

If you don't wanna do that, then don't bother. I as well am a guy who started out with the 4G37, and it's just not worth the elbow grease and investment, not even talking about money. You'll be absolutely demolished by a SOHC Honda, or a 1st Gen Prius even with mods on the 4G37. Just do quality of life improvements, and maybe stuff like intake/exhaust if you want it to be noisier. Otherwise, waste of time and money.

You won't need it. Unless you are forcing more air in (turbo) then you simply won't have enough air to need more fuel. At the very least if you think youre running out of fuel I would get an AF gauge to find out. Adding injectors and a piggyback will net you nothing if the additional fuel is not needed.

If you add nitrous you will need more fuel and typically I see nitrous systems do that as a system, not in conjunction with stock Injectors. Running the additional fuel needed with the injectors is doable but not with a stock ecu or piggyback. N2O won't be measured by the MAS so you can't add additional fuel via ecu in a stock system.
By all means the sky is the limit but its also not beyond reason to do a swap. Seen more than 1 stealth "1.8" with a 2.0 turbo under the hood. Food for thought rather than getting another car.

Fellow 4g37 owner here. There’s not a whole lot of power to be made on these engines. Mine has a cat delete, intake baffle removed, 8mm plug wires and a timing advance of 6degrees(I think 4 is factory spec). It’s peppy enough to be fun on backroads below 55mph, but my wife’s 2010 Nissan pathfinder would still walk me in a straight line😂

There used to be a forum dedicated to the 1.8 i think it as dsmoneeights or something like that. They’re great engines, just not power houses.

You can either add boost(which includes all the supporting mods) or you could get the head milled, do some mild porting+gasket matching and send your cam off to Schneider for a regrind($150 or so) and you might get 120-130hp at the crank.

Just sit back and enjoy the reliability. If you do any basic maintenance on the car it’ll just keep going forever with the stock 1.8.
