there is the link- seeing that this HAS been discussed and no one really said HOW to do it exactly- there you go- and also- this is something i don't know how much to youall think all those parts would run to do that swap? I mean as a grand total?

BTW i think if not done somewhere else that i possible missed this should be a sticky seein that i KNOW that poel ask about this- i have yet to find the 4g63t fiero cause i am interested as heck in that too. seeing that i've got the 327 fiero about ready to go in a few months from now- (350hp in a 2600 pound car with a 130pound driver HMMM limited tracktion much? ;) )

its been done here soo many times, its easy because the c50 gti was available with a 145hp 1.8l 16v based off the 4g63..so the motor looked like a 4g63,it just had a different crank.. so dropping in a 4g63 or a 4g63t was a piece of cake.. dropping in the 4g63 nt out of the amg galant was easy, not even wiring harnes mods or ecu was necessary then you got a 170hp c50..

its embarresing to get raped by a c50 LOL.. always have to look out for those with fmics or those with disk brakes in the rear.. dont ask me where they got em from, prollt galant gti(due to the same 4 bolt hub i guess)

its also been done an the later models too,and the last gen model as wel(the small cute lookin one LOL)l.. ive seen the last gen hatchbatch even using a evo7 fmic, it fit perfectly in the colt gtis front bumper opening..no cutting etc required.

EDIT: using a colt 1.8 GTI would be a better car for the swap..

i dont know if it was available in the states tho.
