420a turn signals, hazards, and brake light problem

So yesterday my blinkers, hazards, and brake lights quit working. The turn lamps fuse under the dash keeps blowing, along with the brake light fuse and hazards fuse underneath the hood. The blinkers also do not light up on the gauge cluster.

My headlights and tailights still work.

I've been searching for an answer but most threads with this problem are unresolved. And the only possible answer I have found is that its either a short in a wire or the hazards relay behind the radio.

The only thing I've done to my car lately is change the right headlight to a talon one. (Mine broke and it was the only thing the junkyard had to offer

This is my daily and I really need to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

It could be a fuse, or relay for the blinkers, even a short, get a test light and see what you can find.

If your fuse keeps blowing that means there is something causing a large draw on that circuit. Over the forums there is no way to tell what is causing that. Now with that said you have two options here since you have not found any resolved issues similar to yours.

1. you take your car to a professional to diagnose the problem for you then you could attempt the repair or have them do it.

2. Get the correct wiring diagram for the blinkers, hazards and brake lights and take a Multi meter and start your testing. (checking continuity, available voltage,chasing wires, etc etc.)

If you are not experienced with electrical diagnosis I suggest #1. They can diagnose the problem for you and you could repair yourself to save some money. A good shop should not charge more than ONE hour for diagnosis.

I'm not afraid to touch wiring. I've done everything on both my dsms and my gvr4 so far. Just wondering if anyone knew about another relay or something to help narrow my search down. Troubleshooting is the worst.

So far I found out, that with the driverside tail light pigtail unplugged the fuses will not blow. The blinkers and brakes work fine. This is with the passenger side pigtail still plugged in.
So tomorrow I'm going to check the driverside tail light and then follow the pigtail looking for a short.

Found the problem. Two of the wires (positive and ground) for one of the bulbs, on the drivers side taillight had been caught by the bolt and smashed when I tightened the tail light into place. So the positive and ground were touching each other and the frame of the car. I went through about 20 fuses trying to figure out the problem and it was something simple.
