Please Help Me with this issue I'm having.

I need to Relocate the solenoid on my starter Because my downpipe is going right into it, if I could just relocate it I would have enough room to run my downpipe, but I Dont have a clue on how to do this. If anyone has any ideals im open even if you know of any aftermarket starters.

Sorry I Don't Have a better Pic of it

Try modifying the pipe...

If that's an eBay manifold, keep an eye on it as they are highly prone to cracking. What turbo is that?

Now now lets play nice, ebay manifold, aftermarket starter not saying they dont exist but show me one for his set up. Your gonnoa have to make changes to that set manifold.

The Exhaust outlet on the turbo is about 2.5 inches away from the solenoid. And i'm sure if I start cutting into the exhaust manifold I will really run into issues with the integrity of it. On a lighter note this website has a lot of nay sayers I know there aren't any aftermarket starters for my car that I know of, But maybe someone out there knows of a company that makes custom setups. And just because I only have 4 posts Doesn't mean I haven't been Busting my ass on this car for the past 5 years

Thank you

Custom shops lookin your area for your set up you might want to try a different set up. Set ups look around at fab shops but there goes the integrity of your manifold right, did you look elsewhere for manifolds for your engine rather than ebay, because now it seems you have problems i would look around at 420 turbo set ups and see what they used. That could help.

It looks like there's plenty of room there. Why not turn the turbo around?

I saw on this site a spacer for the manifold. It brought the manifold about 3/4" away from the head. It was a solid aluminum piece. Maybe something like that can help you out. "IF" you can find something like that for your car.

Yea maybe that and/or a spacer between turbo and mani? Can you show another pic of the problem area? 2.5" is pretty tight.

Edit: Here is the spacer i think Talipse is referring to.
