Opinions on what exacly? If you should do it or not; or how to do it? I think if its going to be a track car and you don't have any emissions (we don't either here) you should go with it. I mean if thats really what you want... You should still be fine with a 3" turbo back thought, depends on your future goals.

opinions on running the cat back exhaust or outta the front bumper. When i run open dump it ripps way harder it doesnt like the back pressure. Yeah were pretty lucky in new mexico not to have emissions. i would like to run like a electronic cut out so i could have both...im trying to tackle the exhaust system this weekend i have a few mandrel bends but im still tryin 2 figure things out.

I thought about using the electronic cut-out myself, my original plan was to run a 3" downpipe to the cut-out system, then have the oem exhaust going to the back... perfect sleeper without the lack of performance (when I'd need it), but I wasn't sure on the reliability of the cut-out system so Im just runing a straight 3" turbo back, sounds mean but its in no way a sleeper.

I think conventional wisdom would dictate that you go with this idea (the one in the quote above). The problem with running a short pipe out the front bumper is that you would really need to be careful with your angles (wouldn't make sense if the pipe were angled so that it's opening was directly in the path of the airflow), and there really isn't much room to work with in order to get a pipe to fit with the proper angles. That said though, the idea of a shorty pipe is a really cool one, and I would like to see it done. It just seems like there will be a whole lot more work involved, and you'd have to be very careful with your measurements and angles in order to pull it off successfully. Let us know what you decide, and post up some pics of what it looks like when its done. I'm rooting for you either way!

thanks, its nice to have a little support yeah i think im gonna do it but do you guys think i should run just piping or should i throw in some kinda muffler or cat of some sort. i want it to sound nice and look good as well.

My honest opinion? I would run all pipe first and see how you like it...you can always cut the pipe and add a cat later if its too loud or throaty. I mean, if you have no emissions to worry about (we don't have any emissions here in GA either), and the car is going to stay on the track (and not get you pulled over every time you run to the store for milk and bread), why not? The bigger mistake to me would be to add the cat or muffler first and then decide you want it louder later on, right?

Like I said, I would really like to see the shorty pipe (despite it probably being a ton more work to get right)...what are your ideas or plans for that? Just curious...

What mods do you plan on doing down the road. No emissions here either:)

It may be nice to not have emissions but its definitely not worth it to live here, the 2 1/2 months of summer being just one reason

yeah i think it wouldnt be that hard i have a guy who does like the best welds ive ever seen and im just gonna run a 5 bolt turbo flange with a v band clamp adapter welded on and then just go from there.(Its gonna be 3 inch). I plan 2 run it outta the side of the passanger bumper. ive seen it before and it is bad ass. another thing i would wanna do is run the wastegate dump and pipe it the same way or outta the top of the hood a (screamer pipe) those are also sick. and loud.

well my motors done top 2 bottom i have ignition and fuel i guess all i really need now is like all the drivetrain. i wanna get a lsd, staged clutch and some bad ass axles

Ok guys i got my exhaust done the night before test and tune day at the track. its simple but sounds awsome definitly a start. check out my pics i will put one up of the finish product ive been busy with school.
