I'm really sorry for the absence of my presence for the last 6 months. I've been really really busy with life and circumstance.
I just recently have been able to start the project back up and will have a ra-tarded amount of photos in the coming months. When we first started gutting everything in my buddies shop, my boy was born. Then he had a fire in the back shop and we had to move my car to storage while waiting for the insurance company to have the rebuilding estimates done. NOW, he's in a new shop all-together and we will be pulling Dante out of storage to start back up at the end of August, once he gets all his tools moved in. I hope to have it done by spring to start shake down runs.
For anybody who wants to know, my rear end is an R230 from a Nissan Q45 with DSS axles in a Custom Magnus Rear Subframe. The front end is going to cost me 2x as much if I try to use the Magnus hubs, so I am going to tube it with a kit from Chassis Engineering.com
The Magnus bill is hefty so it will have to wait for deeper pockets come January. They are going to custom mount the R230 in their AWD subframe for a price high enough to buy a nice VR-4..... It will so be worth having Rear Independent Suspension though... Especially since this car is staying streetable...to a point...
Any and all feedback welcome, as usual!
