Hey how are you doing guys. According to Auto Zone i "blew my motor" :hmm:
But on a more serious note, Im doing an engine rebuild and transmission swap (auto to manual) what i wanted to know is i was going to buy the ebay kit Eagle Talon 2 0 420A 16V Engine Rebuild Kit | eBay for the rebuild and then get a timing belt kit from parts dinosaur. Does anyone have any other experience with the kit from ebay or parts dinosaur? Also im getting my transmission from a nearby parts yard and wanted to know is there a kit you can buy with everything ill need for the manual tranny? or should i just go find some reviews and piece it together myself. Thanks for any help ahead of time haha:rocks:

So you are listening to autozone? They sell parts, not diagnose cars.

Not listening to them LOL but i was doing the transmission swap so figured might as well do a rebuild while im at it because i do want to boost my car next spring.

If you wanna boost your car you will need to go with forged internals. Unless <8 psi is what you want with reliability problems.

Im not looking for the speed in my car right now. I'm doing it to enjoy the ride and love my car haha. Live and learn now so when im older ill have the experience to do as i please haha. i don't mind 8 psi and 420a's can handle 8 without alot of reliability issues

I hope you know electrical and how to rebuild an engine. I've never used that eBay kit but I know I wouldn't use it especially if you plan on installing a turbo. Quality parts is what will last cheap ones are unknown. If your willing to risk that I say try it out and let us know how it goes.

You won't need the 5 speed harness, just make sure you get the ecu that matches the same year as your car. Also there is some small wiring you must take care of to fully function.
And there is no kit you can buy unless someone is parting out their car.

Example: 97 a/t eclipse you need a 97 m/t ecu.
I used this write up when I did my transmission swap v
