420a Miles?

About how many miles can the 420a take before it starts to get problematic? I was going to get another b/c somebody totaled my old one while it was parked.... I was thinking of buying this one with 170k exactly, It just had the clutch and Tranny replaced, no rust or anything like that. I just wondered how many miles I'd get out of it.

It all depends on how well they are maintained and how the car was drove.

Yea I'm wondering the same thing, I just bought a 95 Talon ESI with 150k on it. The car is in horrible shape, it was pretty riced out. Nothing beeps when I put the key in and have the door open, there are no lights in the car besides the speedometer cluster and a/c controls so I can't see anything at night. There was a huge hole in the bottom of the intake. I don't know if I should put any money in it or not>?

I can't speak for the motor or tranny, but at 217k miles, I'm having problems with wheel bearings and suspension parts.

I've replaced 3 wheel bearings, 2 tie rod ends, 2 lower control arms, and a u-joint (AWD only). My sister has a 98 GS and she's replaced 2 control arms and 2 upper control arms. Her car has 140k miles. Her engine is going strong (just and aftermarket AEM intake).

Both of our cars were driven locally where there is quite the pothole problem, so that probably hasn't helped either one of our cars.
