I can't seem to fix this problem. my question is, I just replaced the head with a reman head. on the drivers side or the head at the back of the intake cam I believe there was a metal half circle shape filling in the hole there. on this new head I don't have that and I'm getting oil pooling up at the back of the cam. can this piece be replaced or should it have came on the reman head? The spot I'm refering to is same location as the cam sensor but on the inake cam instead of exhaust cam.

Edit: I do apologzie for any Confusion! My laptop was having a bad day on photos and was not uploading the correct one, should fix question & follow up. You will need to buy one at a local dealership or buy a half moon key that will basically fix in it.

If you are referring to #7 part on the photo above on the left side, then yes, as stated. You can use the old semi-plug to replace it and black RTV.

Not what I'm talking about. my problem is the old head has already been sent off as a core. so now I need to find said half moon shape metal piece to put in this new head. ill post a pic of what I mean.

You can buy the rubber replacement ones at the parts store. Felpro, CP75013. The part number is for a 4g63, but it is the same size.
