Hey guys I'm sure some 420a guy here knows the answer. I bought a used set of crower rods but the guy I got them didn't have the spec sheets for them. Does anyone know the torque specs for the bolts on these rods?

If someone can scan the sheets that originally came with the rods for me would be the man!! Or woman!

Part number off the bax is B93970b.

Thanks guys!

The bolts say crower on them so I am guessing they aren't ARPs. I'll give them a call jus figured someone here might be faster.

How is the 420a at that HP? I'd love to get this engine up to around that mark.

Well I contacted Crower and they said they the part number is a custom number and that they would need the work order to help me further.

Anyone have a work order for their 420A Crower Rods?

I already tried and he couldn't give me any info on them at all. His mechanic got them and installed them for him.

Hey guys after talking over with Crower a few times I couldn't get all the specs but I figured I would post what they told me incase anyone else searches for this.

For the 420A eclipse with crower rods and crower 3/8 bolts:

Lube with motor oil
then bring the 2 bolts to 10 ft lbs
then one by one bring them to 45 ft lbs with out stopping.

Hope this can help someone else! :thumb:
