4" mufflers

I've seen those pictures before, I'm still under the impression that side exit is for the wastegate dump as the class he runs in ( or was running ) requires the exhaust to dump after the rear axle.

In the last pic is looks like it dumps out the side. I dont know how anyone would route the exhuast out that side and still make dump by the rear end, with the tranny in the way. Plus, I dont think he runs in the same class and that is why he is running this new setup. I could be wrong though.

In the last video I saw of his car the exhaust was dumping out the side, not he back. And I do think he's running in a new class.

A local wanted us to build him a 4" exhaust, but then his interest somewhat died in the project.

However, my 3.5" clears everything pretty well. It's a full three inches starting at the downpipe flange, and then opens up to 3.5" after the oil pan. At the moment, I'm not running a muffler, but that will change in a bit. The exhaust needs some tone. As it sits, it just kind of screams bloody murder, and I'm not a big fan of it.

I dont see why people are knocking your idea. Since no exhaust is the best exhaust and you dont have that option on the street, why not go with the biggest full exhaust you can fit?
Yes Sheps new exhaust is out the side, no more full exhaust. There was a video posted on here showing it a few months ago.
