4 door eclipse

if i could afford an evo id do it. and i dont own the car in my avatar but i do own 3 n/t 1gs and soon hope to buy a turbo 1g. and this car will happen i may end up putting a custom built frame under i mean i do work in a metal shop as a fabricator

By the time you spent the money on the metal , body work , drive train modifications , proper brakes and basically everything to get it DOT certified you'd have spent enough money to buy an evo.

A four door Eclipse?

Sorry but even if it was doable, which it is I'm sure (with the money etc), I can't imagine it being the least bit attractive.

The two door EVO is possible because all they had to do was remove all doors, weld the b pillars further back (with proper bracing etc.) and add two longer doors. They also chopped the roof of that EVO so there's obviously extensive modification done to it.

So far the only idea that made sense was putting an Eclipse front and rear end on a stratus or another sedan with similar body curves like Jeff99GS mentioned, it would still be pretty hard to make it look good but it's the only feasible option in my opinion.

The idea of a rear suicide door like on the rx8's and Saturns would be awesome, but again, practically impossible to make it work correctly and be attractive at the same time.
