Cornwall,
I must admit I'm not all that familiar with the transmission/clutch inner working so this has me confused.

1st gear, 2nd gear no problems but when I go to do a 3rd gear pull 2k and up, once 3k is reached it feels like the transmission slips. I stopped right away and thought maybe it was just a one time thing. So I tried again and the same thing but this time I let it go to 4.5k and stopped. I could smell clutch burn. Driving normally is no issue. Once boost hits is when it happens....any ideas?

Happened to me quite a bit on my ACT 2100. Especially when the clutch was cold, it would slip like it was in neutral, a little heat and it would hold fine. Sounds like a new clutch is in order.

If you smelled burning then I think it would be better to have your entire ACT 2600 replaced and the flywheel checked for hot spots, flatness, and proper step height.
I assume your clutch pedal is properly adjusted to begin with.
