I be chillin at the end of Staten Island b4 I go into Jersey if anyone else from NYC wanna meet up?

Anyone in NYC we can meet up in Manhattan before hitting the bridge or myabe somehwere in Jersey. We can hopefully then meet up with the gus coming from northern NY like poughkeepsie, wappingers falls, mount kisco area. Lets figure out a spot to meet up so we can then all head out and then meet up with the rest of NY and is anyone from jersey that wants to meet up.

31st kills me, i'll be in the poconos on vacation and will not be back till 2nd (30th - 2nd) dang it anyhow.

When will the voting be for a date of the meet? The sooner I know the better planned for me.

From what I've seen, the 31st will work for mostly everyone. I haven't seen more than a couple people that have conflicts, and some of them have worked around them to be at the meet.

well i cant move mine as it was setup last year, Pocono race weekend, been going for 3years, and $1500 a weekend, so i just cant toss that to the side. 24th would of worked great.

I am coming into jersey via the George Washington Bridge but once I am in Jersey I have no problem going out of my way to meet up. I friend in Hackensak off of I-80 that we can meet at if that helps

Ya, that wouldn't be good to just walk away from. Are you going to watch races, or participate? As of right now though, you're the only one who's against the 31st. We'll keep thinking about it and see what others say.

So how many people/cars were at this event last year? Looks like this meet is going to be pretty big , 67 listed some of those have friends...(phew)

The list for last year had 84 people on it, plus friends/family. I'd say we had over 100 people there over the course of the day, and probably at least 60 cars. I wanted to keep track, but there was just so much other stuff that needed done.

I hope this year is bigger!

James and I have been talking and we wanted to add something new to the meet this year. So we were thinking of adding a little competition – like a car show. We would come up with a few categories and have people vote on the best car for each category. We could do this one of two ways.

1. We could charge to vote (like $1/vote, $5/6 votes) and then hand out actual prizes for the winners. Any left over money would go to the renting fees for the pavilion, and then the traditional money to the person who comes from the furthest away

2. We could do it all for free and then James and I could come up with some humorous gifts to hand out to the winners.

I’m also going to see if any local vendors might be willing to donate a small gift that we could also hand out. This way we can get more vendors involved.

So, what are your thoughts on this?

Deff agree with that Brian.... Last year we had couple members of two different vendors as everybody knows they were from Extreme and JMF.
