Sounds like a good idea, but get the vendors involved. Not many DSMers will be willing to pay to vote. Plus with the temptation of a decent prize from say JMF or Extreme, people will make sure to bring their A-game.

I'm not expecting to receive anything big (if anything at all), so don't expect like a JMF SMIM or EvoIII 16g

Maybe some logo merchandise, a small gift certificate, or something like that.

I agree that something from the vendors would motivate people more, even though I'm sure the ideas that James and I will come up with are going to be awesome

This year is gonna be a much bigger meet than last year's I think. I mean, thats how it's supposed to be anyways if you have a good meet. More and more people come every year. CANT WAIT! just got my bumpers from the paint booth and they look smoooooooooth!

dude, it's totally not 4 hours from you. It took me 1.5 hours to get there last year from Lancaster. And I know damn well shrewsberry isn't 2.5 hours from Lancaster.

I do have to agree though with GOOBERLOG, my wife hates that I'm into cars. Seriously, I came home yesterday and was like, "WELL! I got the 16g on, turbo timer, newly painted bumper, boost controller and wideband all today!" her response? "ok, can we not talk about cars anymore tonight?"

My gf of 3 years has a ford escort that she converted to awd and ran 11.12 at the strip last fall... and she taught me how to rebuild her 2stroke motors for her motox bike..

yea well i hate both the 2ga bumpers... and when i got mine the cover was all cracked up. I spent some time looking for a 2gb talon one but couldn't find one so i went eclipse. i like it, my car is a mash up any way.

Was just busting your balls man, there's plenty of that on this site. But yeah it would be nice to see who some of the people on here look/act like in person. The last get together i was kinda shocked but i shouldn't have been surprised that most of the dsmtuners were really young.
