Looking back, I should have devoted more time meeting some more of the people as well. I had intended to match faces (and/or cars) with usernames that I have seen (and have learned from) all the time. Nonetheless, I had thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the people that I had spent time talking to during the day.

Chinola69, I believe your boy had a great time too. He appeared to have been keeping himself busy, like observing some butterflies and stuff (Similar to this picture, I have a bunch of single car pictures, but I did not figure on posting every single car picture that I had taken).

Colt4G63, that boulder field looks like the one in Hickory Run State Park. It is a great park for hiking. It is quite a large park. Coincidentally, making it there in an hour means that you must have been “movin’ along.”

Thanks for sharing pics, i'll have to try and link a friend of mine's shots here. Some of them came out real good.
I'm also waiting on seeing another members shots but don't know what username he goes by on here.
Edit: Friend of mine took these and posted them on facebook. i beleive its a public album so i hope you can all see. http://www.facebook.com/#!/album.php?aid=191573&id=512189085&ref=mf

Thanks everyone for coming out and making for a great day!! I'm glad to hear we didn't have too many mechanical problems with all the cars that made it out. I only saw park patrol once or twice and heard of no tickets that were handed out. And hopefully no one got pulled over on the way home like last year.

To all those who brought something to contribute to the cook out - thank you very much!!

To all those who chipped in money to help cover part of the pavilion rental fee - thank you very much!!

It was also good to see how far this meet is expanding with the addition of the Colt and the 4g63 dragster. Hopefully we'll be able to get some more diverse cars to it next year.

I have a bunch of photos that I took, but some of them need a bit of correction done, so it'll be a bit until I get mine uploaded as I'm on vacation.

Yeah that's Hickory Run State Park, and yeah we haul ass**. When you cover 800 miles in one day it helps to go fast*.

*(disclaimer: Fast, meaning exactly the legal speed limit.)
** (Haul ass, meaning give rides to chicks)

Well I had a great time again, except the tow home, even though it was my cousins truck, when I was leaving my transfer case locked up, "no fluid" I was only doing 25mph when it happened thank god! Thanks to every one who offered to help & thanks again snowboarder714 for the extra jack after mine got stuck under my car!:ohdamn: so make sure to check that t-case fluid it would have been very bad @ 85-90 mph! anyways can't wait till next year.

Glad you got home ok. I know with that car trailer it looked like i was prepared for anything, but you were asking for some chain, and that was one of the few things i didn't have. Luckily i brought some basic tools, cause had to reinstall a coupler on 1whiteGSX's car after a full throttle pull getting on 95 in PA.

I'm assuming that's the cup on the table that said donations for pavilion rental, which was great. Cause i couldn't remember who to hunt down to give some money to. I would have thrown in some more, but with the dual axle trailer tolls costed my $50 all together for the meet! I had a good time. Who ever brought the Taco Dip, THANK YOU!!! Tore it up and have been lusting for it since!

Wow looks like a fun time. It just sucks I wont be getting my car til later this week :ohdamn: or else I would have definitely went to this. I dont know anybody personally LOL but Id still love to go to a meet with allll dsm's. The meets out here in NE Phila just arent cutting it anymore.

How often do you all do things like meets/cruises and stuff in the Tri State Area?

Thanks yeah my little man usually keeps himself entertained anywhere he goes.

It looks like there are already more pictures posted than last year. Keep them coming. I think it properly illustrates how enjoyable the meet had been.

Fittingly, I'll add some more pictures:
First, it was difficult to determine whether Eric's or Jess's 2g GSX was "cleaner" looking...
I marveled at the red "800HP" street GSX, especially since it was driven to the meet...
My Fiero dwarfed by Brian's Ram...
The unique Colt (I wish I would have met the owner more than seeing him near his car)...
Wes's car getting a "wax job" by the little boy...
Lastly, all the other nice cars, including the "German Guy's" (Lithuanian) red Evo.

Of course, a huge thanks to those that organized the 2010 DSM Meet!
Jim

Awesome meet! I had a great time and the little over 2 hour drive was def worth it. It was even better because the drive was uneventful except for blowing a coupler off on the way home. Thanks to my buddy Gooberlog :thumb: having some tools in his truck, I was able to pop it back on in a flash. I didn't have a chance to talk to too many people but it was fun. I'm sure I'll be at the meet next year. Kudos to snowboarder for setting it up. Wish I had some photos to post up but I forgot to bring the camera.

205 miles round trip, it didn't miss a beat and net right at 20MPG on E85. I can't call it an 800HP car as it hasn't been on a dyno since 2007 where it made 620 on 27psi. I do have a datalog from the drive home that shows 49.9psi of boost dropping off to 47.5psi in the top end. :coy:

This car was unbelievable in person, the level of detail that the owner payed attention to in the engine bay is amazing, quite possibly the cleanest engine bay i have ever seen in my life.

Had a great time everybody! Nice to finally get my car to the meet since I didn't have it there the past two years.
