Just to clarify, are you the one planning the event/making the arrangements for the State Park? Just want to make sure that if the event is changed to Aug 1st. Can you make an official announcement then. I have to put in for the day off work as far ahead as possible.
Are you able to change the orriginal date in the opening thread to Sunday August 1st, cause i know that's what i've been checking back to refer to. Thanks for your work!

Please see the first post for updated info. The date is final for August 1st, 2010 and we have pavilion 14 (same as past years) at Ridley Creek State Park.

I have also added the food list to the first post, as we're about 2 months out.

  • Please post up in the thread what you would like to bring, as well as the quantity. Obviously one person does not have to bring enough for everyone (i.e. burgers, hot dogs, buns, etc.), but if we can get 5-6 people per item, it'll split the cost up.
  • Before you post up, please take a look at the list as it will be updated constantly once people decide.
  • Once your name is on the list, please make sure to bring the item. It wouldn't be good if we ended up without utensils, plates, or charcoal (or pretty much most of the items).
  • If you plan on bringing an item that spoils, make sure to keep it cold on your way to the meet.
  • Make sure to show up on time if you plan on bringing an item. This way we don't have to wait once we start grilling and eating.


Just so you guys/girls know, the reservation for the pavilion was $79. If you would like to contribute to the cost, I'd greatly appreciate it. If not, I won't hunt people down. Any extra past the $79 will be redistributed back to the group via some methods James and I come up with. In the past, we've given some money to the person/people who came from the furthest away to help out with gas for their return trip. If we get more than enough, we might divided it for the car show category winners. I'm not looking to make money on this, but just help offset the cost.


The list in the first post has been updated. If you are not on it and previously posted in this thread that you were coming, please let me know. If you haven't posted in here, feel free to!

Do you have a paypal address we can donate too?
 
Are you going to bring enough for everyone? The cups probably won't be as important as the plates, since last year we had bottles of water and cans of soda, so everyone won't need a cup. But we'll probably want to plan on having 150-200 plates, just so we make sure to have enough. If that is ok, I'll put you down as the sole person and mark it complete.
 
I can bring the charcoal, just let me know how much we'll need. I should be bringing the DSM down too as engine is being put in this week and exhaust fabricated!
 
That's a good idea, I might bring by my stock parts that I have laying around and sell them too. Maybe someone will need it after the ride down :p
