The 3g cat back on ebay is less the the cost of the bends it would take to make it. Can a 3g exhaust fit a 1g with minimal trimming? I figure it gets me over the fake rear axle maybe cut in a resonator the right length before the 90 bend to make it fit?

Anyone have measurements on the 3g cat back exhaust?

Wow that's a undertaking for a catback. When I had a fwd I had a pipe made for less than 200 bucks, cat back on my fwd turbo years ago.

No one near me is quoting $200. The 3g kit on eBay is $100. Same as the 2g gst. The 1g cat back is 3 times the price. I can't justify the cost on a car that was only $ 1000.

If its 2 cuts and 2 welds, that's not a huge undertaking. I have a saw, I have a welder. I want to and an extra resonator anyway.

How much different is the 2g gst route?

Keep in mind that 2G and 3G exhausts exit on the driver's side, and 1G exhausts exit on the passenger side. The rear suspension design is completely different also between 1G's and 2G/3G's. It will probably take a significant amount of cutting and welding to make it fit.
