I am trying to install my tial waste gate. I'm pretty sure it is a 38mm. I had an eBay waste gate before and the valve seatbdid not fit. So I bought a tial 38mm valve seat and it still doesn't sit flush with the waste gate, or is it suppose to stick out. If so does the fatter end of it go in the waste gate or the little lipped part... Neither end fits into my manifolds hole... Could it be a 35mm hole? Help!

the seat doesnt go into the manifold at all. i think that is the problem. the ebay wastegate was probablly a 35mm and mine is a 38. so what would be my best bet? getting it bored a little or a new flange welded?

well on extreme psi it says the flanges are 35mm/38mm so they work with both... so now im really confused... im pretty positive its part number is PN104719. is the valve seat wrong? do i need a 35mm valve seat

post up some pics when i first read this i thought you were talking the diaphram.

A gate is measured by it's valve diameter. So, a 35mm and 38mm could very well use the same inlet flange.

Post pictures of your gate and the flange on the manifold.

awesome thank you.... is it suppose to fit into the manifold at all or just rest outside of it

but when i ut the valve seat in the wastegate it isnt close to the plunger/valve. its not getting past the first little lip in the wastgate. do i just need to force it in by tightening it or could it be a 35mm valveseat
