3000gt vr4 pistons

This might be a stupid question, but I was wondering if it were possible to make 3KGT VR4 pistons fit in my 7 bolt block with just normal machining, as in nothing super involved in making them fit. I was just wondering, since my friend has a set laying around and he mentioned that they come forged from factory. Just a thought.

arent the pistons larger? If so, trying to machine the outside to fit the block would result in substantial change of the piston wall thickness and weakening - i don't think it could be done.
Machining itself - yes with good equipment and tooling - altho you probably can buy the pistons cheeper then what you'll pay a good machineshop to do it for you...
