So my buddy's 3000GT VR4 has been about as reliable as my DSM
He just had the engine and turbo's rebuilt about 6,000 miles ago.

The other day he was driving home from school on the freeway doing 60 mph and his car just died. He pulled it to the side and got it to start back up, but heard some noise in the engine bay.
He tried to get it to run, put it into 1st gear and before he let out the clutch, the car just died.
Couldnt figure it out
Had to have it towed home

He is less knowledgeable about cars then your average person.
All he could tell me was that the clutch was a lot easier to push in

Any help, or an explanation?

Thanks

Thanks

Then he probably shouldn't own a high maintenance car. Anyways, I would give it a compression test and check the engine over further from there. Maybe try a 3000GT board.

Well, I am not him, so I cant tell you why he owns the car...
but he has the money to fix it everytime

And I wanted help from the people that I trust here!
Because I know these guys know 3000's also

Thanks anyways
