3" Thermal Exhaust

Hey,
Okay I had a question about my 3" exhaust & downpipe it has the catalytic converter and resonator on and is mounted up to a new "performance" muffler. Anyway.
So its a general question but dont make fun of me , because i actually want to know whats up.
When I accelerate, its loud...but when I de-accelerate like, it sounds like...whooooooooom. like its sucking in mass air and like pulling aganist me.
everytime. its not dangering anything, just why is it sucking air back in or out or......????

When the car is running, the engine is always taking air in, and kicking exhaust out. What you're describing sounds like it's just the nature of the sound of your exhaust system.

i think thats normal unless you backfiring

Even upon deceleration your pistons are trying to suck in and compress air, and trying to stop turning completely. If it's a smooth whooooooom noise, I wouldn't be worried
