Ok I have a 1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. I am having one problem after another. It has all of the drivetrain out of my 91. While running it has a good size miss. Well I checked all the plugs and plug wires ,and they are fine. I started pulling plugs on my Injectors to find out number 3 had no change. I changed the injector, then the ecu, then the injector resistor pack. I am out of ideas to check. Oh and on the yellow wire side of the click it showed 13.4 V while running. Any ideas to try would greatly appreciated.

try some injector cleaner or take that injector out and have it cleaned could just be clogged. Are you sure your getting spark in all 4 cylinders?

Have you tested the connector on injector 3 to see if there is a short somehwere, causing it to have loss of voltage ?

Well I just went and bought me an LED light and plugged it into the conector. Well its firing sooo... Since it's firing and since its got spark. There is only one thing left to check. Compression... Its either that OR I have a set of bad spare injectors. I will mess with it some more tomorrow when I get back. I will post what I find.

check the wire signal from the ECU or rewire it. switch the injector 3 and 4 and check if the #3 still the problem.

Get some of the aerosol electrical parts cleaner. Spray it into both the plug, and into where the plug goes into the injector, then pack the plug on the harness side with silicone dielectric grease. Plug it back in and be sure its pushed down tight. If the plug is busted up to the point you cant reinstall the retainer clip after plugging it back in, you may want to go to the junk yard and rob all four off a 1GB car; the 90 plugs suck and the wires are usually rotted and breaking behind the plugs; the 1GB plugs are FAR better, trust me.

OK so I pulled compression and it is 150psi across the board. I changed the 3 and 4 Injectors and still the same thing. OK so I changed the CAS and still the same thing. Well then I just bought a new set of plugs from a different store and I am happy because it runs. The brand new Auto zone NGK plugs are bad. It was firing but not enough I guess. So I am going to return them to auto zone tomorrow. Thanks for everyone's help I appreciate it.

hahah alot of stuff from auto zone is garbage. i was going to tell you plugs but you said you had spark in all 4 so didn't bother to tell ya. Good to hear you found the problem.

Well I was getting to all 4 so I figured that wasn't it. Well come to find out that it was a defective plug LOL. I guess it wasn't burning hot enough. I do have to admit that this is the strongest compression I have ever seen in my motor since i had it. It used to be 55 to 80psi across the board haha. I am glad I got that fixed now I gotta figure out how to wire up my fuel gauge, then finish putting my interior together.. Thanks to everyone who posted suggestions ,and tried to help. I really appreciate it.
