Toronto,
Having some issues with my 2nd generation Mitsu GS-T
Well it all hapend a while back when I was on the highway , i first noticed that the car would shake over 100 kmph (60mph)
then after some time when i would start the car, and try to move the wheel in any given direction the car would let off a bad (Squeeling) sound (pretty annoying)
I also noticed when going over speed bumps or in a mall (indoor) parking lot it would squeel like the shocks / springs needed to be replaced
after 3 different estimations I have gotten some conflicting problems
To be replaced
Front Upper and Lower Control Arms
Both Driver / Passenger Tie Rods
Now apparently you cannot purchase ball joints without the entire control arm, so I went about and purchased a front clip in good condition the upper control arms were beautiful so I installed them , the tie rod were literally brand new (it came with a rack and pinion) but I havnt gotten permission to install it yet from the owner) and im not sure if thats the issue here
so off we go .... one day later squeeling and bumping noises is back (high speed same rattling affect)
now the question remains , (I DID NOT REPLACE THE LOWER CONTROL ARMS) is this the solution here or is it a combination
im really lost here
but to some it up here are the probs with the car
1. Squeeling when moving the wheel
2. Wheel / Car shakes when going over 60 mph
3. When the accelerator is pushed during higher speeds it shakes
4. Makes a screeching noise when going over bumps
guys help me out here this is costing to much now
ciao !
