2nd Gen window rattle

OK everyone knows what im talking about, how when the window is rolled down and u close the door it rattles like a bi***. well i read the write up on this website on how to fix it, and i followed teh instructions to a T. i even used some great stuff expanding foam, closed the metal clam so there was almost no gap, got everything back together and it still rattles. i adjusted the felt cushions at the top of the door to the tightest setting as well. what could i have done wrong?? so far ive only done the drivers side. i really want to fix this problem. thanks for any help.

MY windows rattled at the point that the window 'frame' connected with the glass. The rubber (or whatever it was) had degraded and basically disintegrated.

I did the fix and it worked for me. BUT! There was also a loose bolt towards the rear part of the door that I had to fix as well. You might want to check that.

my window rattles so bad because it won't go up! my motor locked up and won't budge, but it's getting a new motor monday and nice tighting up so no more damn rattle! If you figure out the problem post it so i can correct mine to.
