I have a 97 Eclipse GS A/T n/turbo. I have been searching for three days now as to where to buy a new or used TCM for my car. I have already replaced my input output sensors and am still stuck in limp mode. After opening up my TCM to check for fried caps I noticed that the entire inside of my TCM is covereg in a thick sticky gel so even if there are fried caps, I cant replace them. Im assuming that TCM is my problem cause even after changing my sensors im still getting a code 45 from my CEL. Any ideas where I can get a TCM other than a dealer would be most helpfull.

Well, I would check the classifieds in here first. Then I would call a salvage yard to see if they have a "hot line" This links them to several thousand other salvage yards. Be sure to have the numbers off of your old one so they can compare.

They are out there.

Good Luck
