You guys using the AFX ecu from howell is the timing advance so much that you wouldn't reccomend spraying with it. I really like the features the afx ecu has especially since I have all the mild mods it talks about but if it's the afx ecu or a 75 shot then i'll stay away from the ecu.

I run a 75 on mine and at 5k + you can see the afr get pig rich because the oem ecu starts to pull timing. I think it would be a good ecu to spray on but I would start with a smaller shot then a 75 and have a way to monitor the afr and the egt. A 5k+ on mine the Zt2 falls to 9.6, but at 3200 its right at 13.2:1 afr. Just be carefull with it.

Yeah but the afx ecu from what I undestand advances it quite a bit but they thing is it adjust to your setup. I just don't want to spend all that money wait crazy long from ### it seems then have to sell it cause my timing is to high and i'm knocking or worse hurt the motor.

you really won't know until your logging it....because the nitrous kit is also compensating for knock with that fuel jet as well.....I think driggs has/had the ecu on his whip. but it was non turbo, but I think he would be the most knowledgeable about the ecu on this website.

Timing is everything so I can understand your concern...

(off topic).....but what happend to the turbo plan?

It's still a possibility man I am the worse when it comes to makin up my mind but when I do you'll see me go from like I/H/E to portfueller msd fmic bigger tb the works LOL. Just I"m looking at everyones numbers and getting a ball park of what my hp goals are and to be honest I'm not to big on the idea of building up the bottom end up a car to make 300whp. So then the goal becomes how to maake around 225whp as effeciently as possible without going to overkill or sacraficing daily drivability. This car is my dd I'm getting a bike soon for my real fun ride. If it wasn't for those dam log manifolds I'd alrerady be on the GS-T bandwagon.
