Your post makes no sence.are you trying to use a 7bolt plate on the 6bolt swap and wondering why u have a extra hole and chunk of plate.or can u not find the plate that goes to the 6bolt block.if its the extra hole just run a short bolt through the plate and trans.repost to be more clear.

The Starter mounting plate....well it bolts in behind the flywheel and clutch unfortunatley....you cant get to it without taking it all off, if you get the 6 bolt out you cant miss it, its about a dime thickness.....i just finished my swap and i ended up finding a washer that was the same thickness to put on the starter bolt and cutting that damn plate off, because i didnt have all the alignment tools and everything that came with my clutch anymore WTF

Just to let you know you can rig it in there. If you cutout the starter area, You can use one of the factory holders for the heater lines. Mainly the one that bolts to the tranny notch it, and slide them in place of the 2 factory bolts where the starter plate would be. Sorry I know this is a bit ghetto but worked great for me.
