I'm looking for OEM or OEM style headlamps for the 2Gb Eclipse. I'd rather have OEM lights, but the price of the OEM 'style' headlamps is tempting.

I'm looking at a junk yard headlamp as well. He's only got the driver side, and talking him down only got me to $100. The coating is half way peeled off, but the lamp looks clear. But for $100, it doesn't seem worth it at all.

So what do you think -

1) OEM 'style' (TYC brand) - about $50 with shipping:

1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse Headlight, LH MR485143

2) Salvage yard slightly damaged headlamp for $100

3) Brand new OEM headlamp for about $165 with shipping:

(I can't link you directly to the parts, but here's an image clip)

The point of this thread is do you know anything about Mitsubishiparts.com? They claim to have OEM parts. The prices are much better than other OEM dealers which has me a little skeptical. Has anyone purchased anything from them and would you recommend them?

Or have you purchased the TYC OEM 'Style' headlamps and how did that work out for you?

Just for insights I have no complaints about tyc products. I once owned one of their headlights and for 2 years that thing never showed a sign of peeling, fading or yellowing out.
Curious, why not just dish out like 85 bucks for a pair on ebay?

So you have one OEM and one TYC. Can you tell the difference?

For a pair of TYC?

Yeah, I'm getting advice on what to buy and where right now. :)

Thanks.

Sorry I think I might of mislead you. I owned one set for a different car. It looked just the same. Had adjusments for wide, narrow, high and low just like the stockers.
But there's a thread about the headlights on ebay, the pair that goes for 85 bucks. I can't remember the review but it's on here. Might need to search a little.

Edit..
Here you go man... hope it helps!
