Just by looking at that picture I'd stay away from them, thats supposedly a new painted bumper and its folded on the nose.
If its got a full diamond star emblem on the nose typically it was an OEM that was repaired, if its blank with no emblem or has a triangle on the nose its aftermarket. Either way I've never seen fitment issues on an OEM DSM with the aftermarket front bumpers unless theres a big FMIC in the way.

You want a cheap 2Gb front bumper, look into something like this...

MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE 1997 1998 1999 FRONT BUMPER 97 98 99 - eBay (item 380294564513 end time Jan-29-11 13:17:23 PST)

This is where I got the bumper thats on my car in the pictures on my profile. It's polyurethane, so you need to use a couple different types of adhesion promoters with the paint and prep it really good. Other than that, the fitment was pretty good and you can't really beat the price. It didn't have that triangle on it that some other aftermarket bumpers have, I don't know if I just got lucky, or if thats the way the ones that they sell are.

Not sure why its folded like that, but the title says painted because they will paint it any color, its not actually painted, its primed. But all i really want to know is about the "quality" of any of the aftermarket, but seeing that painting it isnt that easy I may just find an oem one and paint it.

Lol why isn't it that easy?

Thanks for the helpful input.

Anyway, I am having difficulties finding ones that are around me, but I really don't want to buy a cheap knockoff and have it not fit, which it seems fitment isn't an issue, but I am more concerned with quality. I may end up buying this and painting it, but its a bit expensive considering I have to paint it.

I spy with my little eye.... a RIP OFF...

1997 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE GST Bumper Cover

Notice the same picture?

Hope the link works. Front bumper cover. $44.79 plus shipping from Rockauto

Shipping can be up to 150 and the other one I showed includes painting, this ones just primed, but I may pick up the primed oem one that was repaired, price is kind of steep though. Not sure, but why the hell is it bent like that haha so confused

i was also looking for a 2gb bumper and came across the ones on ebay that come painted..the fitment and quality are probably going to be around the same in aftermarket bumpers..my opinion..i was just wondering how good the paint quality is?..sorry for jacking the thread but your probably thinking the same thing?

It seems like a deal because it comes painted or atleast have that option,. But tipically from hat ive experience either they dont prep it good or even prep it at all or they'll use cheap paint .. You will see it chip away or the paint fade..

So I ordered the bumper that was a reconditioned oem one, and needs to be painted, and I will either paint it myself, or have my friend who has a shop do it, if im busy.

I had a buddy of mines order a painted 2gb eclipse bumper and the paint started to peel off badly after 5 or so months of daily driving. So I would just order one and have it painted right (my future plans).
