I'm from Germany and i've got a 2ga Gst "J-Spec".
It never has a Gsr-4 Badge on it but i think it must be one ,as i read in some Threads here.
Is it true that these cars have 230hp stock?
It's also a 7bolt Engine as in every other 2g Turbo
There are two Things i've noticed yet:
-The Engine has no Egr
-There is no Mdp Sensor on the Manifold
-Stock Boost is around 0,75 bar with the t25

Other Differences are the 180kmh Speedometer and of coures the Speedlimiter ,you can just remove it like the us limiter;)

Has Anyone here more Informations about the 2g Gsr4?
I cant really find anything
 
I lived in Japan & never seen a 'j-spec" 2G there...I only seen "J-spec" 1G cars for sell. Far as I know they were pretty much the same cars with a few minor visual things. I also think that the GSR4 was only AWD.... Maybe someone just got the badge & put it on you 2G? Possible your car was imported from Canada? I would of bought a 2G one for sure if they had them when I was in Japan...Instead I just bought 180sx & Skylines...LOL
 
I think egr valves are mostly just American standards. I dont think they are forced as much in different countries.
