2g20g on 1g?

Friend of mine offered to sell his slowboy racing 2g20g to me for 500 bucks. Sounds like a killer deal but theres a catch. I have a first generation. Is the install possible and worthwhile. What would be required for the installation?

What I really need to know is, should I buy this turbo?

The problem is this is the way the outlet on the compressor housing faces.

if it uses the 2g locationf or oil/water lines, you'll need those too...

I have a stock side mount with stock lower intercooler piping.

Couldn't I just run the rubber lower piping up to the bend?

It is a tdo5 20g so wouldn't the oil line remain the same?

only thing that makes that 20g a "2g20g" is the 90 degree elbow welded on the outlet.

It will be fine.

It may also come with the 2g install stuff (lines and such) but you don't need those. The 1g ones on your car already will work fine.

Either way, it's not really going to matter. He can just use the 1g lines.

I guess I'll just be running the stock lower intercooler pipe up to the 90 degree elbow and using all the stock lines. This sound okay?

Does anybody use this turbo? If so how do you like it?
